I’m Maya Bonham Carter, a filmmaker and videographer based in Miami.
I didn’t come into this with a roadmap—just a camera, a lot of trial and error, and a need to turn what I felt into something visual. Over the years, I’ve worked across social media, advertising, professional photography, and cinematography. My work spans branded campaigns, short films, and everything in between—but I treat every project like a film. Because it should feel like one. Cinematic. Intentional. Never disposable.
I shoot primarily on the SONY FX3 and A7III, blending handheld grit with gimbal fluidity. I’m fluent in Avid and DaVinci Resolve, and I care deeply about every detail—lighting, framing, sound design, pacing. Whether it's a 15-second reel or a 10-minute story, I think in shots. I think in impact.
My work sits at the intersection of story and movement. I don’t do “safe.” I do real. I do resonance.
From storyboarding and shot listing to filming and editing, I bring a sharp creative eye to every stage of production. I'm not here to blend in with content creators—I’m here to build visuals that hold weight.
Let the work speak louder than the pitch.
